Merry Christmas to all and to all a Good Night

It's the big day tomorrow. I was hoping to find time to put more words into this post but as I'm desperate to add a little extra Christmas cheer to your screen, it'll have to be an abbreviated version.

This post is just lots of silly shots from my Christmas shoot with the wonderful Dave Edkins. We have such a laugh shooting together, even when we aren't shooting festive things and there are loads of funny outtakes that I will share with you in the future. But for tonight, here are some silly Christmassy shots and I hope they make you smile!

Candy Cane Lane

We were trying to shoot something pretty silly anyway and I kept getting the giggles. I'm so glad that Dave clicked on these ones because I love the outtakes as much as the actual shots.

Rudolph

When Dave was using a bauble as a prop (as seen in the images below) he turned around and there was his model, messing around. So we got these funny and cute shots.

Of course, even when we were being serious, I couldn't be that serious for very long!

Mug Shot

When me and Dave shoot, we take our own mugs with our names on. I had to get a shot with mine (and often take selfies of it on my social media too). Imagine my surprise when Dave offered me a drink and accidentally handed me his... so I had to get him to take a shot with me looking a little bemused at the mug mix up.

Giggles

On our shoot we didn't devote the entire time to festive shots. On one of the more normal sets, there were still some great outtakes. Mostly because the lights kept messing up and it was making me giggle, which made it hard to be serious on the shots where the lights were actually working. I assure you, we did get some decent shots out of it though, so there will be a blog post including those in 2026.
