Happy Monday and happy December!
If I'd been more organised, I'd have brought you a lovely festive blog post for today. But it's been a long and busy week, so maybe I'll sort that out for next week for you.
Instead, today I'm bringing you images I edited from a shoot I did back in August with Dave Edkins. These are all from a set we did in a black all in one lace bodysuit. It even had fingers. Wild. It's a similar deal to the rainbow outfit I did a blog post on earlier in the year called Rainbow, except this one is black and there's more of it. I really love how it looks, it accentuates (that's a hard word to spell) the curves of your body and just looks amazing.
We decided to shoot this on the corrugated iron background at ARB Studio and the contrast between something industrial and something beautiful really made these images work.
If you'd like to see more of Dave's work, here are his links so you can go and show him some social media love: Instagram, Threads, PurplePort and E-photozine. Dave shoots on a Nikon D850, and here are the images we got that day in the black lace bodysuit:
Implied(ish)
Okay, so not exactly implied in the second image but I think the black gloved part of the bodysuit looks quite good across my chest in these images. I wasn't sure it would work as well without being able to see my hands but I really love these shots.
Back
The back of the bodysuit was cut out and we got some lovely images showing this off. I think it just adds to the curves of the body and another reason why I love this outfit.
As the material is more stretched across the body and less so on the arms, it means you can still see the arms distinctly when they're across the body like in these two shots below.
Arms Up
As you know I quite like posing with my hands in my hair, which was quite difficult with the gloved hands so i just went with my arms up around my head instead of in my hair. I think these shots came out quite well though.
Hair
But of course, I did still manage to get some shots with my hands in my hair. It just wasn't easy as it made my hair static and wasn't as easy to smooth it over afterwards.
Colour Vs Black and White
To finish, here are some images that I did in colour and black and white. Obviously I have a huge preference for black and white anyway but this outfit really works in monochrome.
First off, here is one of the 'implied' shots to compare the colour and black and white versions of:
Next up is one of my absolute favourites from this set, because I love the pose so much.
Then one of my favourite back shots, the light across the back is lovely and soft. I also do love an anonymous image.
And finally, a more classic pose. I edited this one to be a bit more contrasty and I love how it came out.
I hope you enjoyed looking through these images and I appreciate you taking the time to read this. Don't forget to follow me on social media if you're not already on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter and sign up for an account on my site so you can leave comments.
Oh, and there's still time to buy one of my calendars, just visit the shop page to have a look! :)
Until next Monday,

Great read and some amazing images as always 🙏🏼
I love the monochrome versions... and I love the colour versions more! 😊
