Bodyscapes

Happy Monday!

This week has been super busy for me, I've done a few really amazing last minute shoots with wonderful and talented photographers and got chance to visit a new studio with Dave Edkins to give our opinion on how they can make better use of the space... honestly, it's been great. I've had so much fun making the most of the weather before it gets too cold/rainy, and running around the woods with no clothes on. But it does mean that I didn't leave myself much time to write a particularly engaging blog post. So this post is a lazy one, but I think you'll enjoy it nonetheless as it's image heavy.

The images in this post were all taken by Dave Edkins a couple of weeks ago in August 2025. They are all bodyscapes that we took at the very end of our shoot at ARB Studio in Longton. Me and Dave hadn't really explored much bodyscape photography together before (no idea why, we just seem to have too many other ideas that we always got distracted with) so it was great to finally get around to dedicating some time to shooting this type of image with him. It was also the first time I've shot bodyscapes since giving birth to my daughter, so I was interested to see if I'd still love shooting them since my body has changed.

As I'm pressed for time, I'm just going to post the images that I edited below and not really talk about them much, but I'm really really pleased with how they came out. I find that I prefer bodyscapes in black and white, but there are a few that I've added a colour tint to at the end, which I quite like too. I also struggled to decide on the best crop for some of these, so I've included a closer crop on a few of them because I like both versions!

Bodyscapes are a very intimate form of photography, so I hope that you enjoy looking through them as much as I enjoyed taking and editing them <3
