Happy Monday and Happy June! How did that happen?
Today starts #30dayswild, which is a month long nature challenge from the Wildlife Trust. I do it every year with Pixie and 2026 will be our 5th year spending June focused on nature. It's so much fun and not just for children, so I definitely recommend having a look and taking part. Reconnecting with nature is always super rewarding.
So for this week's Misuzu Photography blog post, I decided to include some images I took at Glebe Farm in April. Not really wild, but it felt related cos all these wonderful animal models were just fantastic.
Cows
I really adore cows, and they're lovely to photograph. I especially like the second image here, a beautiful close up portrait:
Fluffy Cow
The fluffy cows are my absolute favourite. It was really cute watching this one play with the bowl and I got super excited when I managed to get a picture with it's tongue out. It was mostly picking it up to throw it around, probably annoyed there wasn't any food in there, I'm guessing.
Duck and Sheep: Black and White Comparisons
It wouldn't be a Misuzu Monday Blog without a colour vs black and white comparison at some point! Here is a lovely duck just chilling in the grass.
And I'm quite proud of this next one. I really like images with a shallow depth of field and two subjects in the image. The sheep happened to wander across and stop in just the right place for me to capture this image. I took it twice, once focussing on the duck and once focussing on the sheep but the duck being in focus was my favourite out of the two.
Lambs
The lambs had just been born when we were at Glebe Farm and I think they're so so so adorable... obviously I took an excessive amount of photos of them because awwwww.
This little white lamb was curled up under the heat lamp:
These little guys were less than a week old according to the farm lady I was chatting to. They're so photogenic but as soon as they were up and moving around, they were difficult to photograph cos they moved pretty quickly and didn't really seem to like staying still.
And these guys all cuddled up together was just super sweet:
Sheep
Here is a better image of the gorgeous guy from the image with the duck. I feel like I owe him an apology for not choosing the image of him in focus in the pervious section, but I hope this image makes up for it:

These lovely ladies were the mama sheep. They were in with their newborn lambs so they were just resting (and rightly so cos kids are exhausting):
Curly Horned Sheep
These sheep were mine and Pixie's favourites. They had super cool curly horns and they were very friendly. I say friendly but they mostly just wanted the food in all honesty... that was fine by me because it meant that I got to take some lovely images of them as they poked their faces through the fence for food:
I think this image of the three of them is my favourite one from this post. They were all just perfectly placed:

Pig
This beautiful girl was resting until we came up to her. Then she got up to follow wherever Pixie was around the enclosure, which seemed to freak her out a little bit. I told her that the pig wanted to be her friend!

Pixie
And to finish up, the most wild thing of all: my darling daughter, Pixie.
And that's all from me for today! I'm off to go and do some wild things... Thanks for reading and I look forward to sharing more of my work with you next Monday <3

Absolutely love the duck/sheep shot! And the triple sheep one is just perfection! 👌
