Throwback: The Hamadryads in Greece 2017
Updated: Jul 23
Hello to my lovely subscribers! Today We are going back nearly a decade for me to share with you some of my favourite images from a trip I took to Greece in 2017. I went there to work with a photographer called Patrick, who works under the name Garden of the Muses. I was really excited when he messaged me to arrange a shoot because his work was wonderful. And I'd never been to Greece before so that aspect of it was pretty exciting too. We arranged for me to go out there for about a week and shoot in November to avoid the hottest weather and most of the tourists.
I absolutely loved working with Patrick: his photographs of me (as you will see) were amazing, but also he was extremely knowledgeable about the ancient history of Greece. It meant that every shoot was like stepping back in time, and the locations he chose were fascinating. I often look back on this trip and think about how lucky I was to be able to have had this experience (I also went back the following year for nearly two weeks, which I will write another blog about at some point too).
